Brainstorming Session #1 - Sunday 30th April

Written by: John-Paul

To kickstart the Earth Lab project our first brainstorming session will be Sunday 30th April between 10am and 12noon at 123A Bridge St. (Above Little Bee Hive). All ages are welcome and feel free to join us at any time. Afterwards we can head downstairs for some retro gaming and table football in the mini arcade.

The focus of this session will be on the direction of the project, to build on the initial concept and suggestions generated at the project launch and work out a rough timeline and initial tasks and the resources and funding required.

Additionally we need to start thinking about possible workshops. There is the opportunity to run one or two workshops during the Nelson Tasman Climate Forum 'Climate Action Week' at the end of May (on power generation for example).

Help is also needed to build the 'Boosted' crowd funding page for the project and for other roles such as media and general admin for the project.

If you'd like to be part of the discussion but can't come in person you can connect on line via the link https://meet.jit.si/TheEarthLab.

If you can't make it to the brainstorming session but still want to contribute feel free to post ideas and thoughts on the Facebook Group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/earthlab) or the Twist Channel (https://twist.com/a/166517/ch/659575/ - you will need to join the Society & Culture group here https://twist.com/j/05749e8e11541fbe47468117c7392f43 if you haven't already).
